Saudi Arabia has decided to use flying Taxis for Hajj Operations

Saudi Arabia has decided to use flying taxis for Hajj Operations. While talking to media Transport Minister of Saudi Arabia Saleh Bin Naseer al-Jaseer shared that this year Saudi Government has decided to use flying vehicles for travelling of Hajj Pilgrims in 2024. These Flying taxis will be used to facilitate the pilgrim’s journey in Makkah.

Saudi Government will be using Volocopter’s vertical take-off and landing vehicles to transport pilgrims from Jeddah to Makkah. Furthermore, these flying vehicles will also serve as emergency vehicles. It is claimed that this development will be more convenient and cost effective than traditional air ambulances.
