Oldest and most Distant Galaxy discovered by James Webb Space Telescope.

NASA’s James Webb Telescope discovered the most ancient and most distant telescope of the universe. JADES-GS-z14-0 is the oldest galaxy which is discovered by scientists till now. According to scientists this galaxy came into existence after around 29 million years of Big Bang.

JADES-GS-z14-0 is extremely luminous and spans over 1600 light-years. Mid-infrared instrument of James Webb space telescope observed the light emitted from galaxy indicating the emission of ionized gas. It is interesting to know that scientists are believing that ionized gases from the galaxy could be a combination of hydrogen and oxygen which will shatter the previous theory which states that oxygen didn’t exist at the beginning of universe. However, it is also being considered that JADES-GS-z14-0 is different from the galaxies that have been discovered previously.
